Abstract

The basics of classification, methods of cleaning and processing post-consumer wood (PCW), are considered in this work. It is proposed to convert PCW into glued boards (GB). A comparative analysis of physical-and-chemical parameters of conventional GB as well as variously constructed GB from recovered wood (RW), has been made. A regression model is created to predict GB static-bending strength across strips with the GB’s thickness being 22 mm depending  on the strip width and glue consumption.
