Article Processing Charge
This journal is published in full open access. This allows the scientific community and the general public to gain unlimited, free and immediate access to scholarly articles, and to reuse the content freely provided. In order to provide free access to readers, and to cover the costs of publishing and hosting process, the article processing charge (APC) of 1000 Ukrainian Hryvnas applies to manuscripts accepted after peer-review. APC is paid only after the manuscript had been reviewed and accepted for publication. If the article is not properly formatted (requires additional formatting, English editing, additional formatting of the reference, etc.), additional fees may apply for these services. This journal does not employ submission charges.
To support sustainable open access publishing, the APC has been introduced to ensure we cover the costs of the publication process (formatting the text, to compose the figures and tables, translation of metadata of articles of foreign authors into Ukrainian, etc.) including the administrating of peer-review process, publication on our website, the permanent archiving of the articles, website administrating (maintenance and support of the website), general administrating, DOI assignment, and the promotion of the journal and articles (to share the journals content all over the world, serve the indexing databases, promotion of the journal among the research community, etc.).
The journal policy provides for exemption from any payment for the processing, review and/or publication of articles submitted by applicants for the third level of higher education on a state-funded course, provided they are the sole author.
Waiver of Article Processing Charges for Third-Cycle Higher Education Students
Third-cycle higher education students (PhD candidates) enrolled in state-funded programs are exempt from any fees related to the processing, peer review, and publication of single-authored articles in accredited scholarly journals. This provision is intended to support early-career researchers who publish independently without co-authors.
Main Conditions for Fee Waiver:
-
Author status – enrollment in a state-funded (publicly financed) program;
-
Level of education – third (doctoral) level of higher education (PhD/doctoral studies, including adjunct studies where applicable);
-
Authorship – the article must be single-authored (no co-authors);
-
Scope of services – the waiver applies to all stages: manuscript processing, peer review, and publication.
This requirement is supported by an Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and is aimed at removing financial barriers for researchers during their studies.
