Abstract

The main goal of the project is to establish regularities between the processes of thermal modification of wood, the properties of the obtained products, as well as the related impacts on the environment. The project envisages optimization of existing modification processes, assessment of the quantitative impact of new heat treatment technologies in comparison with traditional treatment and alternative materials in order to maximize sustainability and minimize the impact on the environment.
