INCREASING RESOURCE USAGE EFFECTIVENESS AT PRODUCTION OF OAK PARQUET BOARDS

Costs reduction at wood usage during oak lamella production is received by the way of reduc-tion in recommended thickness and width of wet prefabricates. The top layer of parquet board – a thin cut wood (lamellas) of valuable species, usually with thickness of 3.5-5.0 mm. The results on cost minimizing are given by comparing actual costs and the recommended amounts of prefabricates for the production of 100 m2 of lamellas. Reducing the size of prefabricates from 30x78 mm and 30x220 mm correspondingly to 29x75 mm and 29x215 mm make possible to reduce the cost of wood respectively on 5.85 and 7.59 percent and thus to obtain economic effect in the manufacture of parquet boards, as well as significantly reduce the unit costs on oak wood. The given analysis on scattering of the actual size of thickness and width at wet oak prefabricates and lumber, as well as the scattering of the actual values of wood drying out allowed to minimize lumber nominal sizes at the lamella manufacture for parquet boards. Implementation of recommendations into production will facilitate to reduce costs per unit of oak wood and receive the economic benefit in the production of lamella parquet.
