Abstract

The main groups of wood’s particles dryers were analyzed. Found that each of them, under certain conditions, will provide high-quality drying of straw particles. Based on the efficiency indicators of dryers such as using of heat per 1 kg of evaporated moisture, energy consumption per 1 ton of evaporated moisture and the amount of evaporated water per 1 m3 of dryers volume was determined that the most effective type of straw particle dryers are convective spiral cyclonical dryers of TCA type with pneumatic material moving.
